İNSAN HAKLARI VE DEMOKRASİ EĞİTİMİNDE YÖNTEM

Tüm eğitim alanları için olduğu gibi, insan hakları ve demokrasi eğitimi için de uygun yöntemlerin seçimi,
önemli bir sorundur. Yöntem seçimini etkileyen önemli etkenlerden biri, içeriğin özelliğidir. Bu çalışmada, insan
hakları ve demokrasi eğitiminde izlenecek yöntemler irdelenmiştir. İnsan hakları ve demokrasi, öncelikle kişiliğe,
kültüre ve anlayışa yönelik olan iki kavramdır. Kişilik, kültür ve anlayış ise büyük oranda ortama ve onu etkileyen
yönteme göre şekillenir. İnsan haklarına saygılı demokratik bireyler yetiştirebilmek için demokratik bir eğitim ortamı
gereklidir. Bireyler demokratik değerleri daha çok yaşayarak ve görerek kazanırlar.

Like in all other fields of education, it is also essential problem to select an appropriate method for human
rights and democracy education. One of the most important factors influencing the method selection is the attribute
of content. In this study, the methods which will be followed in human rights and the democracy education have been
taken into consideration. Human rights and democracy are, first of all, two important concepts which address to the
personality, culture and the mentality. Personality, culture and mentality, on the other hand, are shaped mostly by the
environment and method that influence it. In order to train individuals who are respectful to the human rights and
democratic members, it is necessary to create a democratic environment. Because individuals can acquire
democratic value mostly through living and seeing.
