РЕПРЕЗЕНТАЦИЯ СОБЫТИЙ В СИРИИ В БРИТАНСКОМ ВОЕННОМ МЕДИАДИСКУРСЕ

The article deals with the peculiarities of representation modern Syrian events in British war media discourse. The concepts which characterize the situation in Syria from December 2017 till February 2018 are defined. The author emphasizes points out the change in emphasis from the reports only about warfare to the description of people`s feelings who found themselves in the center of armed conflict. The link between concept semantic meaning and its functioning in war media discourse is proved to be connected with the worsening of the situation.

В статье рассматриваются особенности репрезентации современных событий в Сирии в британском военном медиадискурсе. Определяются концепты, которые характеризуют ситуацию в Сирии в период с декабря 2017 г. по февраль 2018 г. Отмечается смена акцента с сообщений только о боевых действиях на описание чувств обычных людей, которые оказались в центре вооруженного конфликта. Доказывается связь семантического наполнения и функционирования концептов в военном медиадискурсе с обострением ситуации.
