BOR MİNERALİNİN ENERJİ SEKTÖRÜNDEKİ YERİ VE ÖNEMİ

In present study, the usage areas, potential and its future in energy sector of boron minerals, which has very important and strategic role not only for our country but also for all over the world, are argued. The developments, especially hydrogen store ability, of boron technologies are very important and sensitive issue for our country because of its huge reserve.
Although, it has a lots of advantages, it did not gain an important place in energy sector and it did not reach it huge potential because of hydrogen production technologies that they were still depending on fossil fuels. The boron technologies can only be developed by changing hydrogen production methodologies where the energy source for producing hydrogen will be all clean.

Bu çalışmada, dünyada ve ülkemizde son derece önemli ve stratejik öneme sahip bor mineralinin enerji sektöründeki kullanım alanları, potansiyeli ve geleceği tartışılmıştır. Bor teknolojilerinde ki gelişmeler özellikle hidrojen depolamada ki avantajları ve ülkemiz açısından yüksek miktarda rezerve sahip olması nedeniyle, bor üzerinde hassasiyetle durulması gereken önemli bir potansiyeldir.
Tüm avantajlarına rağmen, enerji sektöründe yer edinmesinin gecikmesi, hidrojen üretim teknolojilerinin fosil yakıtlara bağımlılığının devam etmesine bağlıdır. Bor teknolojilerinin gelişip, gerçek potansiyeline ulaşması ancak hidrojen üretim teknolojisinin tamamen temiz kaynaklardan sağlanması sayesinde mümkün olabilecektir.
