İLKÖĞRETİM 5. SINIF SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİNDE “KAVRAM HARİTASI” KULLANIMININ ÖĞRENCİ AKADEMİK BAŞARISI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

The aim of this study, to determine the effects of “Concept Maps” at the “Social Science
Class” of 5th grade students of primary school. This study was conducted in Durhasan Primary
School in Demirci-Manisa in the fall term of 2004-2005 academic year. In this study, “pretestposttest
with control group” design was used. It is concluded that using “concept maps” has
positive effects in students’s academic success.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim 5. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde “Kavram Haritaları”
kullanmanın öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Bu çalışma 2004-2005 öğretim yılı I.
döneminde Manisa Demirci’de Durhasan İlköğretim Okulu’nda yapılmıştır. Ön-test son-test
kontrol gruplu deney deseni kullanılan bu araştırmada kavram haritalarının öğrencilerin
akademik başarıları üzerinde olumlu etkisi olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
